Thursday Challenge : Creativity

This week’s Thursday Challenge is “CREATIVITY” in any form viz Art, Music, Writing, Photography, Architecture, Handicraft etc.

This is a stone carving of the struggles of the Tibetan people. Since 1959, about 100,000 Tibetans fled to neighboring countries. Many died on the way as a result of Chinese attacks and harsh conditions while crossing the Himalayas. Thousands continue to escape oppression and persecution in Tibet each year.

This stone carving is at The Tibet Museum at Mcleodganj, Himachal Pradesh.

  2. It is a pity that such wealth of information is around us and a lot of are not aware of it.Honestly,I had never heard of this place before even though I was born in HP

  3. What else do we expect from an ideology that is devoid of sentiments , values and emotions? Any ideology that does not respect values, culture and heritage and see living beings and other creations in nature as dispensable and lesser than the ideology itself will conduct the Chinese way not only in Tibet but upon its own people.
The usurpation of Tibet saw centuries of culture, heritage and tradition vanish once and for ever.
