A Rose Is A Rose Is A Rose!

Thursday Challenge – Yellow

Yellow it is, this Thursday!
A quick surfing through the lappy archives and I saw this…

…the Yellow Calla Lily, which added brightness and beauty to the decor at a hotel in Shimla.

They say that yellow calla lilies originated from South Africa. They are about 18-40 inches tall. Each stem has one bloom. They are ideal for bouquets and floral arrangements with an expected vase life of minimum 8 days!

Read somewhere that a yellow calla lily long stemmed bouquet is ideal for a tall bride. As these are tall and slender flowers, so when a tall bride carries it, she will look even more elegant and stylish. Wow!!

And this immediately made me remember the sasural genda phool that are generally used in Indian weddings! 🙂
