Egg Pizza by KG

Whenever we are in a hurry and there isn’t much time to make a vegetable or dal for lunch/dinner, we rush to make this dish! This was taught to me by KG.
And he calls it an Egg Pizza!

  • Eggs : 3-6
  • 1-2 Onions cut into slices/wedges
  • 1-2 Tomatoes cut into slices
  • 1-2 Green Chilli
  • Spices : Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Cumin Seeds, Black Pepper

  • In a non-stick pan, take some oil.
  • Add cumin seeds, when they crackle, add onions, tomatoes, green chilli.
  • Sauté it for a few seconds and then add all the spices except the black pepper.
  • Break eggs one by one and spread them over the spicy masala as shown in the picture below :

  • Cover it with a lid and let the eggs cook on a slow flame. After a few minutes the egg pizza will look like this…

  • Once the eggs are cooked, garnish with black pepper and coriander!

  • Serve hot with chapati or parantha. Or you can eat it like a pizza too!!

Simple and easy and also a healthy dish in a jiffy! Try it!!

  1. Looks tempting. And why is it that one strays into a post with a yummy recipe and pi9cs only when one is hungry? This happens to me all the while .

    • In this recipe the egg white binds all the ingredients so you get one pizza like dish! I dont think, mushrooms or bread will give that feel/look, yes a veg can be made out of bread and mushrooms too! 🙂

  2. wow I love eggs. And this looks super delicious. Can’t wait to try it. We don’t eat eggs at home, thus I will have to wait 😐

  3. are wah!!..even i make this, i call it egg jaal frezy..:D

Actually you can experiment further, add vegetables like capsicum, mushroom etc, just fry them to get rid of the rawness, and then add eggs….and you can garnish it with all these japanese and chinese keya sesonings..:)..
