UBC Day 27 : Silence…

Tring- Tring, the phone rang.

She willed it to stop ringing.

Unmindful of her turmoil, it continued to disrupt her inner peace as well as the silence of the room.

Thoughts of an impending harassment over a crank call were clouding her mind, when she heard him say, “No, I don’t want a credit card.”

  1. Fortunately, I don’t get any credit card selling/upgrading calls (any longer). BTW, why should the phone ring only in ‘Tring tring’ still? It can also ring like ‘Jadoo hai nashaa hai…’, no? 🙂

    1. True, we always wonder who might be that regular crank caller and in some homes, these calls might be the reason for discord in the family, much to the oblivion of the caller.

  5. lol!!! I pick the phone listen the word “I am calling from XYZ Bank” and promptly say, “Not interested than you” and disconnect the call 😀
