Review : When I saw this book and flipped through the initial introductory pages, I came across a Warning and a Request.

The Warning was ‘There are images and illustrations in this book. In order to avoid plot spoilers please do not flip through the pages or read mid sections.’
And the Request : ‘Reviewers are requested not to give away the details of the plot in blogs, social media sites or other media channels which may act as plot spoilers for others.’

Reading these, the first thought that hit me was, ‘Aha! Here is an author who wants the readers to soak, absorb the facts and the fiction gradually and enjoy his work thoroughly.’ The book also mentions that the news, events, organizations, reportage mentioned are true. With high expectations I started reading Baramulla Bomber and boy! I was hooked to it from the very beginning.

Baramulla Bomber is a science fiction espionage thriller which has diverse subjects like Quantum Physics, the Vedas, Mythology, Religion, Politics, Technology and even Cricket! Despite so many plots and characters, and a story which spans across various countries viz India, Pakistan, Sweden, China, USA and Norway, Baramulla Bomber is a fast paced action filled thriller with twists at regular intervals. This author is successful in making the reader hungry for more and keeping them glued to the book. The characters are well-etched and you get to know the characters better as the story progresses.

Baramulla Bomber is an extremely well balanced book that will compel you to keep reading till the very end, to know just exactly what the characters will do next and what the outcome of all the events will be.

They say that the length of the book should be determined by the story itself, and as long as it is interesting, the number of words/pages should not matter, but I think Baramulla Bomber is a bit on the lengthier side.

Svaslik Trilogy  is a series of 3 books – Eka, the first part is the Baramulla Bomber, Dvitiya, the second part is titled , The Consultant and the third part, Tritiya is yet to be titled. The books are connected but you may read them in any order. I am so looking forward to read the other two books of this Trilogy.

Baramulla Bomber is definitely a work that I’d recommend.

Rating: 4/5
