He succeeded in pissing her off again!

He had this uncanny habit of mocking and laughing at the sermons she gave him.

And that made her scream with anger.

Why don’t you ever take me seriously’, she asked through gritted teeth.

‘Because, you look so damn hot when you’re mad’, he said with a wink.

  1. Such a sweet take, Love it, actually it happens with me.
I am a short tempered person, like the other day I was waiting eagerly for package which was to be delivered a week ago, and he came in and said the package is here but its not the dress which you ordered for !
I started grumbling … then shouted at him for coming late from office etc….
He just smiles and removes the dress from his laptop bag ans saya TAA daaa !
So its true WE do ANNOY each other !

  2. With every alphabet your posts are also becoming more and more interesting. In Marital life there are so many ups and downs, which you are demonstrating perfectly.

  3. hehehehe.. that’s how most men think dont they? and it gets rather infuriating when they say something like that when you are in the worst of your tempers sometimes 😛

  4. Mostly the wives only nag the husbands.
When I get really bugged by his indifference, and say I am leaving him forever, this is way he reacts mostly:” when darling? Should I book you a bus tkt/ train tkt./( no mention plane tkt.), please hurry up and tell me the date, or do you plan to jog to parent’s place “( having a dig at me for being into fitness).
    I can’t help laughing.
I love this quote by Rita Rudner:”I love being married. It’s so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.”
Nice take on the subject of marriage.

  5. OH my god! Did you eavesdrop on my conversation with the spouse yesterday? 😉 This is so EXACTLY him 😀 And no wonder he features in my post today 😉

    Great 55-er as always

  6. I love that quote about annoying that one special person! I so live by it 😉 But seriously, it is indeed very important to keep things light and funny whenever the pressure begins to build up beyond a certain point. Humor can bring such a new light on things that a minute ago seemed so stressful.

    Very nice post, Shilpa

  7. ah that was super cute….my parents are like that too…my mom will seriously sermonise and keep admonishing dad for not paying attention to what she says….and dad will say something that will make her burst out laughing!!!

  8. What a great theme for your series. Being able to joke and tease is essential. I absolutely cannot imagine being stuck forever with someone humorless. That my hubby and I find the same sorts of things funny is such a help when times are hard.

  9. Oh yes Shilpa, marriage like everything else in life needs a pinch of jest. Loved the quote about having one special person to annoy always 🙂
