This is an Eagle and that gold chain has Khanda which is the symbol of the Sikhs, as the Cross is to Christians.

Incidentally, this is a water storage tank!!

This was clicked at Batala, enroute Amritsar. πŸ™‚

Very unusual..looks pretty interesting and eye catching.I am surprised that how such a ‘showkin’ house owner overlooked the not so pretty sight of the unplastered walls of the house.
    Very interesting capture !

@ UmaS: I’ll post another kind of water tank next week! On our 5 hour drive from Jammu-Amritsar, there were patches where almost all the houses had a unique shape of water tank. And saw a place where, they were made too!! πŸ™‚

    @ Sweta : Yeah… creative indeed! Thanks πŸ™‚

    @ Scribbler : Right! πŸ™‚

@ Reema : There were water tanks in the shape of footballs, flower pots, huts!! πŸ™‚

@ Bikramjit : Don’t know, if that was of an NRI… many houses had these kinds of designer water tanks! Lol…big fat pigeon?? No, it’s an eagle! πŸ™‚

    @ RGB : LOL… Eagle, Dino, Turtle!!?? πŸ˜€

@ BK Chowla : We observed that, these designer water tanks were seen patch wise. I mean in a cluster, we saw such tanks, then there were the usual Sintex kind of tanks, and some had the cemented rectangular tanks! And at one place all the houses had green coloured Sintex water tank!! πŸ™‚

    @ Smitha : Yep!! :))

@ Kavita : I know, what you mean, Kavita!! πŸ™‚ Looks like the house is under construction!! πŸ™‚

The gold chain – The pendant is related to Sikhism? I have seen this elsewhere.

Nice one. A water tank? Maybe, its ready before the house is ready

@ Insignia : Yes, that’s the symbol of Sikhism. You will see it everywhere / everything related to Sikhism.

Yeah, even I think so! πŸ™‚

funny. During my travel in TN during my kiddo days, I have seen some unusual over tanks similar to this. This takes the cake for the golden khanda.

And ya, he could have used some of the plaster to cover the house furst :S
