Escape

This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 10; the tenth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton.

All the best stories are but one story in reality – the story of escape. It is the only thing which interests us all and at all times… how to escape.

Different people aspire to ESCAPE from different thoughts, actions, situations…

  • Escape from Enmity, Envy, Evil Thoughts, proclaimed the Swami Mithyanand, and you shall move from the stresses of everyday life to living a blissful, conflict-free life!!
  • Escape from Selfishness and Sin, preached Mrs & Mr Sharma, constantly… they are the concerned parents of teens.
  • When would we Escape from Child-Labor, Child-Abuse, Child-Marriage, asked Gayatri and Raju, the little children who are much mature for their age because of the harsh vagaries of life thrust upon them.
  • Escape from the Addiction of drugs, smoking, alcohol, power, internet, facebook and its games, is all I seek, said Madhav aka Maddy, the youth. (An afterthought…do I seek that, asked Maddy!)
  • Escape from Poverty and Escape from Prostitution, can I ever do that, asked Radha, the tired village belle who now lives in a ghetto.
  • Escape from being an Escapist, said I, and work towards realizing your dream or aspiration. Within our dreams and aspirations there are endless opportunities… Go seize them!

Cheers 🙂

~ Beautiful short and sensible post..

Perhaps i have my own opinion..
    I think..Escape is for Cowards.
~ We cannot say..just escape from drugs or fried food…It has to be NO..in simply terms!

Above all one can never escape from their sins…!

~ Escape gives a temporary pleasure to the fancy thoughts! It is a sheer excuse to reality!

Bwt: Loved the way You convey your beautiful messages…perhaps I think I cannot escape saying right now that I do always learn something here in your posts!

    ~ Keep the spark ALive..

  3. Nice post & a wonderful attempt at showing how everyone is attempting to escape from the various traps life has set for them 🙂

  5. observation at its best – yet again..I love the way you connect events..the points you have mentioned here are indeed places from where all the victims seek an escape..

    good luck for BAT 🙂

  6. Situation forces to escape a lot of time… and then you have to…just for example when I open 10 applications, my systems doesnt listen to me then. I say, “Hello, I am the controller not you!’ It doesnt respond, I wait for 10 mins, hoping things will be fine, my prayers will be answered and I would be able to convince my laptop…but I know…it is my laptop…and then I Escape! lol

  7. A nice read as always. And a good take on the topic…

P.S. “Swami Mithyanand”… the perfect term for a whole lot of evils… social and otherwise…

  8. Nice…I will carry these thoughts back with me…and btw half of the people would have written a negative thingy( including me)..and u come up with a positive side to this topic..gr8 well done

  9. In all the compelling, unfavorable and odd situations , with varying reasons and intensities, Escape happens with us every second though we mask it with some decent nomenclature and irrational excuses to satisfy the hypocritic hypothesis called life…

  10. Nice post. I think from now on, if I need to figure out the various possible takes on a topic, I must check out your blog first and then write mine. Liked the subtle humor too.

  11. Anyone who isn’t a realist, is by default an escapist. And I thought one more could get on the list, escaping from labels. Like tom boys, trannies.

  12. “Escape from being an Escapist, said I, and work towards realizing your dream or aspiration. ” so true. You somehow manage to have a totally different kind of post 🙂 Nice list of escapists.

  13. And you forgot one, Escape from like aka suicide committed when a person can’t escape any of the other escapes u’ve mentioned!
    Good post 🙂

  14. “Escape from hidden cameras,” said Swami Nithyananda. 😀 😀

Well, very interesting thoughts. But I wonder, are these things possible? Can we really escape all those things you mentioned. I hope we will.
    Thought provoking post really.

    All the best for batom!
