  2. Shilpa,

Caught up with 3 pending posts. One from the train was very witty and enjoyable. Superb photograph. Congratulations on being in news. Hope to see you on Page 3 also soon.

    Take care

    1. Thanks a lot, Deeps! Yeah, it was fun talking to a journalist about blogging, the journey and the reviews… but the best part was the photo-shoot!! Simply loved the experience! πŸ™‚

  3. Interesting article. The comparison between men and women bloggers was a good read. The trend of reviewing products has outlived its days, I feel. Now everyone knows that Bloggers are given something to review (at least the product itself is free) and hence the review may not be totally transparent. People are moving towards more creative ways of marketing, in the west.

I personally feel that the job of marketing is to just give visibility to products and let the customers decide if its good or not. Extracting positive reviews (even if only indirectly) is not a good strategy for the long term.

    1. I dont know about others but I know that my reviews are exactly what I believe about the product/book. πŸ™‚
Things always evolve so look forward to some more new things! πŸ™‚
