Blogging from A to Z April Challenge

A2Z-2013-BADGEThis April, I am challenging myself, yet again and participating in the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge. Have done every day blogging in a month, thrice, prior to this. Though this one is not an every day blogging challenge. In this challenge, one has to post every day from April 1st to April 30th, with Sundays being off days. So, for the remaining 26 days of April, 26 letters of the alphabet are used to write 26 posts. One can use a theme for the month or go random – just as long as it matches the letter of the alphabet for the day. What attracted me to this challenge? Well, a number of things…

  • The group of international bloggers behind this challenge are so professional. They have thought of everything to make this challenge a big success. There are instructions and guidelines, there are badges and banners… there’s a blog site, a Facebook Page, Google + page and Twitter account and what’s more, there’s even a calendar to plan!! 598703_10200577894426151_1418497962_n
  • The Indian Bloggers are equally geared up to make this challenge more fun for everybody. So, Corinne from Everyday Gyaan created a group of A2Zeders on Facebook for this challenge. And what do the members do in this forum? Right from sharing their thoughts on themes or the topics for the difficult alphabets, to the tips and tricks for the challenge… There is so much of camaraderie within the group as everyone encourages the other members to push themselves and realize their potential to blog every weekday, despite the everyday challenges.
  • This challenge is going to be a great learning experience as we get to read a lot of newer blogs from different countries too. I am also keen to observe and learn the various blogging techniques, community, presentation, interaction and promotions, apart from diverse thoughts and views from various bloggers from around the world.
  • Also, this challenge is a wonderful platform to have a month long of pure blogging fun.

Game for it?? Excited??

If yes, you can sign up for the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge here. Hurry, the signing up list will close on 1st April 2013, 9:59 PM North America – Eastern Standard Time!

    1. Good luck to you too, Ruchira. LOL @ your waiting for the last minute panic 😀 I have more or less finalized the topics for almost all alphabets except… guess… guess… Its “A”!! Can you beat that!! While B, C, D etc are all finalized (thoughts only), I have no clue for A!! 😀

  4. Good idea, but now I am reducing my current frequency of 3 posts/week to 2 or 1 (per week) due to my involvement in other activities. So, I may not be able to participate in this challenge. All the best to you!!
