    1. Realized the importance of it now! Chalo… better late than never! 😛
Thanks a lot Mr Chowla 🙂

    1. Thanks a lot Reshma! Looking forward to have some meaningful conversations with you as always! 🙂

  1. WordPress.org is a great blog platform, and I use it for two of my blogs. What we can do with self-hosted WP is unlimited and it is easily the best CMS available. But the question is, Is the exhaustive functionality provided by that professional CMS platform required, especially when you already have an established blog in Blogger?

We can more or less achieve many customization options in Blogger itself (including buying a custom domain and installing a beautiful theme). Also, most WP hosts impose some restrictions on bandwidth/processing capacity, but Blogger is on Google’s cloud which could take even a million hits on a single day!

Since I have blogs on both platforms, I don’t see much of a difference between the two. At the end of the day, content matters!! But of course, moving to the better platform keeping whatever demands future might bring is a good idea. All the best and looking forward to interact in your new blog-home 🙂

    1. Agree with everything you have mentioned. The idea to move from Blogger to self-hosted WordPress blog was to have full control over your blog and its content!
Thanks a lot, Rajesh and yes, looking forward to interact with you on the new home too! 🙂

  2. Congrats!!! It is a big move and yes loads of hard work. I mean changing a template itself is a big issue and this is big!!!

BTW have been wanting to ask this always, the secret behind ur blog name!

  3. I got help from a very dear friend in this changeover!! 🙂
As for the blog name… well ‘A rose is a rose is a rose’ is a phrase which actually means things are as they are and not as they should be!
