My theme for this yearβs Blogging from A to Z April Challenge is Feelings and Emotions from A to Z in 55 Words. Today, IΒ is for Impatience
Inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk, she dug a patch and planted some seeds.
She sat there waiting for the seeds to sprout and grow up tall.
For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen.
In a huff, she trampled the ground and nipped them in the bud.

She’s got the right attitude. No waiting for nothing this gal.
Ouch. Impatient indeed. Good one, Shilpa. π
Only if she knew the real fruits of patience…. Such a wonderful take on Impatience! π
Hahahah – reminds me of my childhood when we laid at the grass to “see it grow” – lasted for about 2 seconds… Impatience indeed:-)
Wonderful take on one of the most disastrous human vice
Ah. So I see you know my daughter! *ROFL* π
I am all too familiar with this. As a college student, my impatience has to do with teachers not giving me assignments back on time and noisy roommates. π‘

Awesome and sad at the same time. I can so identify with the urge though. Patients is a virtue, just not one of mine. Good luck from an A to Z blog hoping friend.
If only she had waited! In our impatience we fail to see the fruits patience is capable of bringing!
Oh oh.. patience patience.. a very good virtue. I like that ‘nothing continued to happen’.
I wonder if she is as short-tempered as she is impatient! I wouldn’t be at all surprised if she was! π <3
Reminded me of a school project where we all had to plant a seed and watch it grow. We had to log it’s progress and we were all so impatient.
Waiting is indeed a pain and I can understand the impatience of this girl. I hate waiting outside the doctor’s office even after taking an appointment π
how innocent!!
Sounds like me π
If only she had waited more!! You never know.
Some people just lack patience! *Hides her face so that she can’t see the fingers pointing in her direction* π π
lol, one impatient soul!!
Haha! So me π Loved it, Shilpa!
Aww..those seeds need a lot of patience..I an doing that right now π
oh yes! in my childhood, I’d have done the same thing possibly π cute!
She’s truly Impatient! very well written Shilpa

Hahahaha! Sounds like me! :p
Yes impatience proves fatal. A trait that many possess at different situations in life. π Nevertheless, always teaches us a lesson in the end. Great take !
Haha…oh well, patience is a virtue that not everyone has. Especially in this day and age!
That’s so impatiently me π
Shilpa, this is short and crisp. Well written.
