PJs!! Yes, PJs. No, this is not about Poor Jokes but our very own Pyjamas.
I believe, this is the weirdest of the prompt till date. Weird because of 3 reasons…
- We don’t usually wear PJs. No, I am not telling you about our clothing preferences.
- And in case we do wear them once in a while, we usually don’t click ourselves in PJs. Yeah, we are like that only.
- Hell, we have not even been to the very famous PJ parties, ever.
For me taking up a challenge is synonymous with commitment. So, whether I like it or not, whether it is weird or funny, PJs will make their appearance on this blog.
After going through our photo archives, I came across this pic of Aaryan. In fact, this is the only pic of his in a PJ. Clicked one early morning in 2009, at Sanasar which is 20 kms from Patnitop and some 120 kms from Jammu.
Sanasar is a perfect place for a quite and a peaceful holiday. It is known for its natural beauty and is also known as mini Gulmarg, and has lush green meadows.
Aaryan made friends with the owner of this pony who was also a boy of his age. The 2 days that we spent here, Aaryan and that lil boy were seen together riding on Badal. The swelling in his right eye is due a small injury he had a day before.

Yeah, had to spend a lot of time, digging into folders and sub-folders… 😀
Like you, we don’t have a special clothing for the night and even if we do, we do not get clicked in that.
Aaryan looks cool..the swollen eye…had to see because you mentioned.
We do have comfort clothing as night wear but certainly not PJs 😀
And yes, clicking in them is simply out of question.
I know… I mentioned it, so it goes in the blog memory and Aaryan reads about it some day! 😀

That picture has come out real crisp and bright. I like it. Would make for a good enlarged portrait for the wall.
I think PJs became popular in India after cable TV. But, by that time, we’d already crossed our childhood and teens.
I agree… today’s topic was a bit weird. Even females from outside India haven’t posted their own pics in PJs … on the FMS group. It’s either their kids in PJs, or their PJs lying on the bed or drying on their clothesline. Some have even posted pics of their pets in pajamas! Hardly any pics of grown-ups in PJs!
Oh, we have this pic in a large collage which adorns one wall.
True… this one is truly weird prompt. But I liked the creative ways people have found to make it less weird! 😀
