My theme for this year’s Blogging from A to Z April Challenge is Feelings and Emotions from A to Z in 55 Words. Today, D is for Disappointment.

Something woke me up. Cautiously, I peered outside.

In a flash, he came out of the shadow to reveal his hideous face.

Our eyes met… his full of challenge and mine filled with fear.

Next moment – he’s gone.

I checked the early morning news.

There wasn’t any mention of the beast from last night!

Join me in enjoying reading the blog from fellow A to Zer… Debbie D, today! Do share some blog love with her too! :)

  1. Yes when you witness something unexpected and feel something bad might have happened, and hear no news about it, that too leads to dissapointment. All the best Shilpa for A to Z Challenge… Your posts are like always fresh and different! 🙂

  2. Maybe it was a spy, and his agency covered it up. 😉 The same kind of thing happened in the movie, ‘Jumpin’ Jack Flash’, which I thoroughly enjoyed. :O)

  3. your posts are very evocative and have interesting twists but I was disappointed in the bitter feelings at letter B. I hope there will be a happy resolution.

  4. Maybe some guy escaped from prison and she saw his hideous face, but nothing in the newspapers.. disappointing.. The story doesnt disappoint though.

  5. Scary! No wonder she wanted was disappointed not seeing about that hideous face in the newspaper. I wouldn’t want to see the mystery face appearing out of shadows again. Good one, Shilpa.

  6. Hmm. Yes. I can see why it’d be disappointing too. Maybe she hoped the news might solve the mystery of the beast and set her heart at some ease. 🙂

  7. p.s. Oh and BTW, I am Disappointed not to know and it seems I am not the only one! 😉 I think you need to post answers as a postlude to A to Z Shilpa! Just a thought! 😉 <3
