55 Fiction is a form of micro-fiction that refers to the works of fiction limited to a maximum of fifty-five words.
Forbidden
Even after 4 years, the sparks of attraction flew between them, across the room.
“I know you are married now,” she said.
” You have to go back,” she added hesitantly.
“I have to go back”, he said after a while.
“I’m sorry… It’s time to move.”
And off he went to pack his bags.

Oh 🙁 Feeling bad for them. Great post….loved your story. Have heard such stories so many times from friends, but each time I do FEEL for both parties. The ‘if only’ lingers…..
