‘Why are you buying those herbs when you will never use them?’, she asked with irritation.

‘Can I do something without your nagging, please’, he retaliated.

‘Here we go, again’, she muttered.

‘I didn’t hear that’, he said sarcastically.

Amidst giving cold shoulder to each other, he held her hand as they crossed the street.

  1. So true, Shilpa! Reminds me of my husband’s uncle. He was not a very nice man in his younger days. In his last illness, Chris was driving his uncle to doctor’s appointments, etc, when the man’s own blood did not lift a finger. He said, “Personally, I don’t like the man much, but he is family.”

  2. I imagine the words be shared done with a smile. Otherwise hand holding wouldn’t fit. 🙂 Hubby and I tease all the time, finish each others sentences and voice the same opinions at times. It’s scary, and it makes us laugh.
    Lovely!

  3. hmm sarcasm can be quite the knife in relationships but of course like your couple Shilpa who obviously understand that its friendly banter it could even be the cement that binds them.

  4. Having fun when their differences are at play, loving soon after, just like they do anyway 🙂
Beautifully captured spirit of true love <3

  5. nice!! Agreeing to disagree is one of the unwritten rules of love! and in spite of this disagreement, the subtle signs of love keep the relationship going…
