“Don’t do this, Cassie”, he said fervently. “Don’t just walk away from us.”

“Please understand me. It breaks my heart too, but we have to say goodbye”, she said with sadness in her eyes.

“Do you owe me an explanation?”, he asked resignedly.

“Yes, I do”, she answered calmly, “I can’t have imaginary friends anymore.”

A Word to the Wise

MindfulnessBe conscious and aware of who you are and what you are doing. Be conscious and aware of the people around you and the world you are living in. Introducing more awareness into your life will help you bring about positive change you seek and desire.

  1. I love your theme! And mindfulness is so important in being happy. I love the quote “Don’t worry about what you cannot change, for you cannot change it; don’t worry about what you can change, just change it.” I think it was either Confucius or Siddartha that said it not sure.

  3. I am loving these little twists in all your stories, lovely πŸ™‚ Sometimes it is fun to have imaginary friends to talk to, they don’t indulge in gossip πŸ™‚

  4. I am trying to practice mindfulness and be conscious of what i do. Still a work in progress for me, Shilpa. But when i am mindful and do things, it surely leaves me happy.

As always, you play with words wisely. you are a word smith!
