A Rose Is A Rose Is A Rose!

Things are as they are, not as they should be!

My theme for this year’s Blogging from A to Z April Challenge is Cultivating Happiness. Today, R is for Resilience.

In a flash of a second, her world came tumbling down.

The circumstances were overwhelming and it was easy to sit on a heap of disappointment and despair.

‘How long would this last’, she mused.

She found her back up against the wall

And she found it to be a good place to push off.

A Word to the Wise

You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated.

Life has its ups and downs. Adversities do knock on everybody’s doors. How do you respond to them? Do they bog you down or do you persevere? In tough and trying times one does experience negative thoughts and emotions but do bounce back. Don’t allow them to derail them from your happy life.

    1. I remember reading this somewhere and I think it is so apt for all of us. It says, no matter how much falls on us, we keep plowing ahead. That’s the only way to keep the roads clear!

  1. I like this picture with the back against the wall which is a good position to push off. If I have “down times” I try to remember, that a) it could be worse and try to be thankful for the little things which are good nevertheless and b) that it must go up again soon, because that’s what life always does. There’s no mountain without the valleys and no dark valley with bright mountaintops around it.

  2. Perseverance and resilience are key to a successful life. Using the wall you are backed up against to push back and bouncing back is the way to go.Loved it.

    1. You are such a sweet lil girl, Mithila. Hide for a short while to think about strategies and plan and then get up and push the wall with all your might. I know you can and will 🙂

    1. Absolutely! Tripping and falling are part of life, rising and reaching your goals is what makes you grow!

    1. True. Failure is not the final fall. The will to rise when you fall is what matters and rise one must!!

    1. It is in fact the best strategic place to push both literally and figuratively! Thanks Tulika, glad you liked this one!

    1. It’s the same with me too. Howsoever tough it may be, accepting it and moving ahead is the way forward!
