‘Everything’s going great and is happening as per the plan’, he said excitedly, his fingers caressing the sides of the tea cup.
He sounded very confident of success for his new business plan. He was brimming with passion, inspiration and drive.
Why was I feeling so sceptical? They say enthusiasm is infectious but why was it failing to touch me?
My restlessness was making me miserable. I got up from my chair and started pacing around the room.
Absentmindedly I picked up his cup and gave it a swirl.
The tea leaves told the story… and that confirmed my premonition.
Tea leaf reading also referred to as tasseography is aΒ fortune-telling method that interprets patterns in tea leaves.
