A TIAGOstic Rendezvous

Terribly Excited. Yes, that’s how I’d describe my state of mind that day. Oh, I had a terribly good reason for being terribly excited!! Yes, my name was among the 60 bloggers who were to go on a road trip around Goa for the #madeofgreat pre-launch event for a new car Tiago, hosted by Tata Motors and Indiblogger!

As I scanned the list of 60 bloggers, my heart oohed and aahed. The familiar faces of the blogosphere would be met in real life…how cool and exhilarating!

The days that followed before the D-day saw an unusual surge of energy, born of excitement and anticipation.

And when it all started on 5th Dec, right before the flight take off at Delhi airport amidst hellos and groupfies, bonding over breakfast and lunch at Alila Diwa, breaking ice on the beach to sipping cool drinks as the action began to driving around Goa the next day, the whole experience can be aptly summed as Tiagostic!

Let me take you through our Tiagostic rendezvous at Goa with Tata Motors and Indiblogger…

Fun, lively, peppy, action packed, zestful are some of the ingredients of this #madeofgreat event. The mixed team football at the beach coupled with the now mandatory selfies and groupfies in the afternoon,marked the beginning of the fun event. Anoop from Indiblogger with his wit and humour hosted an interactive session on blogging. And the next part of the event totally left us awestruck and amazed. As the doors opened, we entered ‘THE locker room’. The locker room of a football bloggers team had personalized sections with Messi T-shirts and goodies for all of us. It was one happily surprised moment for all of us. Our coach for the evening was witty Cyrus Sahukar who regaled everybody with his quips and humorous talk.

Cool and Crazy

Cool and Crazy that’s how were the bunch of 60 bloggers at Alila Diwa. Connecting and re-connecting with people whom we knew from their words on their blogs was simply fantastic. Chatting endlessly about blogs and blogging, common interests and mutual friends or singing and dancing or generally having fun made sure that there were smiles and laughter all around.

That’s THE word for this nearly 2 day rendezvous.
Goa … the best place to be in this season
Hospitality… that was warm and gracious
Food… elaborate buffet with wide array of dishes
Event … impeccable arrangements which was high on entertainment and fun too.
