After a long day of sightseeing I was looking forward to some comfort food.
The tantalizing aroma and our host’s promise of their signature dish made me lick my lips in anticipation.
With a flourish, he kept a plate of Sardinian-flatbread and cheese.
It was maggot-ridden, weeping stink bomb in an advanced state of decomposition!

Ewwww! Yucky! Makes me think of that show “Bizarre Foods” where this guy travels the world eating local dishes. What is common one place may be totally unknown somewhere else. But I like my food to just lie on my plate waiting to be eaten. If it’s still moving I pass it on by!
Yeah, Andrew Zimmern shows and eats some pretty weird and truly yucky food! And you are right, people do eat such food, much to our eews and disgust! Well said, I’ll be miles away from a moving food too 😀

I liked that you observed that, Satya! Cool! Like they say, emotions play out in the theater of the body. Feelings play out in the theater of the mind… so I guess, it is easier to express feelings! 🙂
