“Can’t you see?” She barked as he apologized and picked up her fallen bags.
Thinking him to be a homeless trouble-maker, she snatched her bags from him.
As she fumbled in her bag for the keys, he handed them to her.
Sheepishly, she offered him money.
He said, “No, help someone with a kind word.”

Yes ‘pay it forward’. Something which should be second nature has to be taught nowadays.
