Say hello to her manic morning.
She ducks into kitchen and bedrooms.
Loads the dishwasher, unloads the wash-load.
Removes wrinkles from clothes and frowning faces and finally hugs and kisses.
Determinedly she walks towards the balcony where a new adventure waits for her.
It’s time to nurture her soul with a book and hot tea.

Oh yes! This kind of nurturing always helps! What a lovely view!
Few moments of solitude are enough to recharge the batteries of life.
Could so relate with the post, Shilpa.
Oh yes! Don’t we all know this woman? We can all relate to her predicament—Fabulous take on the prompt, Shilpa and so beautifully done in 55 words!!!
Hi Shilpa
Nothing like a book and a cup of tea…. and a balcony with a lovely view …

And such nurturing is very essential or else we lose our sanity 🙂
Yes! Me time! 🙂 well written <>
In this life of running around we all need good friends n no one is a better friend than a book. After all the grueling, it is wonderful to retire in the embrace of that great pal.
Only You Shilpa could sum up the early morning Chaos in a married women’s life so acutely ! That little corner or the balcony is my refuge too to escape the madness.
Yeah! Love such ‘me’ times! Book and hot tea! <3
Looks like your kinda day, Shilpa. Loved this – removes wrinkles from frowning faces.
A book, a cuppa and nature – the perfect combination to nurture ones soul. Beautiful.
Yes that’s the woman, the most admiring person in the house. It has been described so aptly in such less words. Such an adventure is must for her.
There are days, and there are days. Nurturing is SO important, whether you’re nurturing others or yourself.
